2. Remove and discard the 6 driveshaft-to-transfer case bolts and 3 double washers.

Discard the bolts and washers.
CAUTION: Do not reuse the CV joint bolts. Install new bolts or damage to the vehicle may occur.
3. Using a suitable prybar as shown, separate the driveshaft from the Power Transfer Unit (PTU). flange
