If the regenerative braking message is missing, the instrument cluster sets DTC U0100 in continuous memory and the regenerative braking disabled
message remains in the last indication mode (on or off). If the REGEN braking message is deemed invalid by the instrument cluster, the instrument
cluster defaults the regenerative braking disabled message off.
