Bearing Cap Bolt Torque Sequence

2. Install the bolts and tighten the bolts in several two-turn passes using the sequence shown.

3. Verify the valve clearance.

Note:  The exhaust camshaft oil seal is shown, the intake seal is similar.

4. Using the special tool, install new camshaft front oil seals.
5. Install the camshaft timing sprockets. Refer to Timing Components; Service and Repair.
