NOTE:

Be sure to verify RECALL number as the vehicle may have multiple RECALL labels.

If eMDCS displays RECALL 1503L OPEN and an Authorized Modification Label is not present, the RECALL has not been performed.
Proceed to "B. CORRECTION PROCEDURE".

If eMDCS displays RECALL 1503L OPEN and an Authorized Modification Label is present, contact the Warranty Department. They will
update the vehicle warranty.

If eMDCS displays RECALL 1503L CLOSED and an Authorized Modification Label is not present, proceed to "C. AUTHORIZED
MODIFICATION LABEL INSTALLATION".

If eMDCS displays RECALL 1503L CLOSED and an Authorized Modification Label is present, the RECALL has already been completed.
Return the vehicle to the customer.

If eMDCS does not display RECALL 1503L OPEN or RECALL 1503L CLOSED, this RECALL does not apply to the vehicle. Return vehicle
to the customer.

CORRECTION PROCEDURE:

SPECIAL TOOL INFORMATION

One (1) Buckle Cover Removal tool (P/N 604930700A) has been supplied to each dealer. Additional tools can be purchased through MStore.

CAUTION:

Care should be taken when using the buckle cover removal tool to avoid damage to the vehicle interior. Always pull the removal tool in a direction
away from the seat and center console.

NOTE:

Sitting in the seat during buckle cover removal will allow better control of the tool should it slip off the buckle during removal.

Any supplemental restraint system (SRS) faults or air bag indicator light issues must be corrected before this procedure is performed. Any SRS
fault or air bag indicator light issues present are NOT covered by this program.
