Follow the instructions included with the pretensioner repair kits.
CAUTION:
Carefully refer to the "Service Point for Wire Soldering" illustration below and DO NOT allow bad soldering.
NOTE:
Carefully install repair kit for BOTH driver and passenger pretensioner connectors and harness-side connectors, even if DTC is present for only one
side.

Turn the ignition switch from OFF to ON.

Install the RCM fuses # )5 (5A) and # )7 (10A) to the CJB and install the cover.
WARNING:
Be sure that there are no occupants in the vehicle and that there are no objects blocking or sitting in front of any airbag module (including steering
wheel, dash panel, seat side bolster and side-curtain airbags) when the battery negative cable is re-connected. Failure to follow this procedure can
result in injury or death.
9.
Reconnect the battery.
10.
If any further problems are noted, perform additional diagnosis after first repeating the power depletion process addressed in steps #)3-5 above.
11.
Re-program the recorded preset radio stations.
12.
Clear and reset all codes and confirm the repair.
13.
Road test the vehicle to relearn KAM (Keep Alive Memory) strategy and verify no DTC's are present.
