DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may exhibit a squeaking noise from the clutch master cylinder as the clutch pedal is depressed or released. This noise is typically only
present in ambient temperatures of 70 degrees F (21 degrees C) or higher. This condition may be caused by the design of the master cylinder seal. A
modified master cylinder is available for this concern.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify customer concern.
2.
Replace the master cylinder according to the Workshop Manual (section 05-10 CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER).
3.
Verify repair.
