4. Set the transaxle in neutral.

Note:   The transaxle is in neutral when the angle between the gearshift lever and the transaxle shift lever is 90 degrees.

5. Push in the adjuster and secure the lock.

6. If necessary, install the center console trim, the gearshift lever boot assembly and the gearshift lever knob.
