Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

CRANKSHAFT REAR OIL SEAL

Removal 

1. Remove the flexplate.

2. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft rear oil seal.

Installation 

Note:

Lubricate the crankshaft rear oil lips with SAE 5W-20 motor oil.

1. Using the special tools, install the crankshaft rear oil seal.
2. Install the flexplate.
