Tribute ES 4WD V6-3.0L DOHC (2002)
1. Install the drive gear.
2. Install the idler gear.
3. Install the driven gear.
Caution: The Power Take Off (PTO) unit cover must be installed within 15 minutes of applying the silicone sealant. If the time limit is
exceeded, clean the sealing surfaces and reapply.
Note: Apply a 1/8-inch bead of silicone gasket and sealant to the sealing surface of the Power Take Off (PTO) unit cover before installing on
the Power Take Off (PTO) unit.
3. Install the Power Take Off (PTO) unit cover.

Install the bolts in a cross pattern.
4. Install a new dust shield.
5. Install the Power Take Off (PTO) unit vent tube.

Install the lodes.
6. Install the Power Take Off (PTO) unit.
7. Fill the Power Take Off (PTO) unit.
8. Check the transaxle fluid level.
