Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
Right Hand Exhaust Manifold
Removal
1. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) tube. See EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE TUBE
2. Remove the generator.
3. Disconnect and remove the RH heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
4. Remove the RH manifold.
1. Discard the gasket.
Installation
1. Position a new gasket and install the exhaust manifold nuts in the sequence shown.
2. Install RH the HO2S.
3. Install the generator.
4. Install the EGR tube. See EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE TUBE.
