Description

INTERIOR LIGHTING

The interior lighting system consists of the following:

-

console lamp assembly (with roof opening panel)

-

interior/map reading lamp assembly

-

cargo lamp assembly

-

generic electronic module (GEM)

-

interior lamp switch

-

cargo lamp switch

Interior/Map Reading Lamp

The interior/map reading lamp assembly is equipped with two independently operated map lamps and one interior lamp and has a three-position switch:
OFF, DOOR, and ON. The interior/map reading lamp assembly operates automatically when any of the doors are opened.

Cargo Lamp

A cargo lamp is located in the cargo area and has a three position switch: OFF, DOOR, and ON. The lamp is operated by an integral switch in the liftgate
latch.
