eMDCS System - Warranty Vehicle Inquiry Results

Note:

Because this is a warranty extension program, application of a campaign label is not necessary, even when replacing the sensor.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Retrieve DTC(s).

a)

If P0401, P0402, P1400, or P1401 are present, turn ignition OFF and replace the DPFE sensor. Then proceed to Step 2.

b)

If no DTC is retrieved, proceed with the appropriate electrical/driveability diagnosis using the Workshop Manual.

2.

Clear DTC(s).

3.

Verify the repair by performing Key On Engine Off (KOEO) and Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test.
