13. Align the retaining clips and push inward, installing the inboard seat cushion side shield.
CAUTION: Use care when handling the seat and track assembly. Dropping the assembly or sitting on a seat not secured in the vehicle may result
in damaged components.
NOTE: Make sure to follow all steps and instructions in the installation procedure of the affected seat.
14. Install the affected seat into the vehicle. For additional information, refer to DRIVER SEAT, or PASSENGER SEAT.
15. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT.
WARNING: The air bag is for restraint system service only. Remove from vehicle prior to road use. Failure to remove could result in
injury and possible violation of vehicle safety standards.
16. With all the restraint system diagnostic tools removed, prove out the air bag system. For additional information, refer to DIAGNOSTIC
INSTRUCTIONS - AIR BAG AND SAFETY BELT PRETENSIONER SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS).
17. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
