Condenser Fan: Description and Operation
Condenser/Auxiliary Cooling Fan
PURPOSE
The auxiliary cooling fan, which is located in front of the A/C condenser, provides additional air flow across the condenser and radiator to assist during
periods of high thermal load.
OPERATION
The auxiliary fan is activated by the high pressure switch in the receiver drier via a relay and pre-resistor, and the 100°C switch on the engine.
The fan must rotate in a clockwise direction.
