SUBJECT:
POWER STEERING PUMP MODEL 201
A modified power steering pump VT61 or ZF61 (previously VT60 or ZF60) has been installed in model 201. In addition, a modified flexible
high-pressure hose and return line are installed. Previous and modified parts are not interchangeable.
NOTE:
The modified pump is installed in model 201.024 from the start of model year 1985 production and in model 201.122 as of December 1984.
The power steering pumps differ in design. The VT61 consists of three parts - reservoir, pump housing and bearing flange; the ZF61 of two parts -
reservoir with pump housing and bearing flange. Either pump can be installed.
