Ball Joints - Special Puller Should Always Be Used

BALL JOINT REMOVAL ON DRAG LINK AND TIE ROD
Whenever a ball joint needs to be disconnected, a special puller for model 201 (tool number 201 589 08 33 00) and for all others (tool number 186 589
10 33 00) should always be used to avoid damage to the rubber dust cover and ball housing. This is especially important when a ball joint is
disconnected for related work and afterwards reconnected.
Warranty claims will not be honored for parts that were damaged by improper removal, but are otherwise in working condition.
