Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

Removal and installation of door lock on driver's door 

Removal 

1  Remove door lining.   See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair
2  Remove door inside actuation.   See: Front Door Handle/Front Door Interior Handle/Service and Repair
3  Remove closing cylinder on outside door handle.   See: Front Door Handle/Front Door Exterior Handle/Service and Repair
4  Loosen plastic sheeting in upper range.

5  Unscrew screws on door lock.
6  Lower door lock and swivel in forward direction around rear window opener rail.

7  Remove door lock through upper assembly opening.
