Braking Sensor/Switch: Adjustments
Brake Pedal Assembly
There are available two versions of the stop lamp switch. The first version of the stop lamp switch is connected to the brake pedal bracket by means of
two hex. nuts. The second version utilizes a detent to hold the switch in place.
The first version of the stop lamp switch may require adjusting to ensure that the stop lamp will light up at a pedal travel as specified under
"SPECIFICATIONS".
The switch is adjusted by means of the two hex. nuts, which serve simultaneously to fasten the switch.
