Thermostat Housing: Service and Repair

Drain engine coolant.
-
Detach vent line (65) at the cap of the engine coolant thermostat housing (arrow).

Unbolt lifting lug (22, only on engines with hydraulic oil pump).
^
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 ft lbs).

Loosen hose clamp (arrow) at bypass hose.
