Bearing drift (lathed part), not required if a lever-operated hand press is used for assembly.

Removing and installing spring plate

Removing

Remove fan and fan hood.

Release and remove ribbed V-belt.

Hold spring plate in place using pin wrench 000 589 00 05 00 and slacken nut.

Screw puller 126 589 06 33 00 into spring plate and pull off spring plate.

Installing

Push spring plate onto compressor shaft and tighten nut to 16 + 1.0 Nm.
