Introduce assembly tool 126 589 01 59 00 for sealing plate and press holding ring (arrow) downwards as far as the mark.

Installation note
Pull Out sealing plate (53) and remove from tool. Ensure that sealing plate is correctly installed and coat O-ring (arrow) with cold-flowing oil.

Introduce assembly tool for shaft seal 126 589 02 59 00. turn clockwise and pull out shaft seal.

Installation note
Fasten new shaft seal to assembly tool and coat with cold-flowing oil. After inserting the shaft seal, release the assembly tool by turning it
counter-clockwise.

The crankshaft seal on the clutch side of the refrigerant compressor is supplied only as a complete unit and must be installed as such. Never install
new and old parts together. Do not immediately remove new sets of shaft seals in the event of minor leakage. The carbon ring is lapped together
with the inside of the sealing plate. The fit improves as the shaft seal is run in.

Install in the reverse sequence.
