On vehicles with early tensioner, slide the adjustment pointer (22) to the left, until the tip of the pointer is over the first graduation mark of the
adjusting scale (arrow).

On vehicles with late tensioner, push the adjustment pointer to the left, until the tip of the pointer is over the thin line (A) of the adjusting scale.
