SUBJECT:
CHECKING FRONT BRAKE HOSE ROUTING WHEN CONVERTING FROM 14" TO 15" WHEELS MODELS 201.02 AND 201.1
If a customer wishes to convert his vehicle for use with 15" wheels, the routing of the brake hoses must be checked for proper clearance from front
suspension parts and the front wheels. There must be a minimum of 12 mm clearance when the steering wheel is at full left or right lock and when the
front springs are in their fully extended and compressed positions.
This clearance is easily attained if the brake hoses are installed twist-free. Hoses which do not meet this clearance can be corrected by untwisting them at
the holder or by installing a new brake hose, if necessary.
