Remove spring plate.

Remove locking ring in front of V-belt pulley (arrow) and tap off V-belt pulley using a plastic mallet.

Install in the reverse sequence.

If the same belt pulley is re-installed, the friction surface of the belt pulley must be cleaned. If the friction surface shows signs of damage (e.g. due
to overheating), the belt pulley must be renewed together with the spring plate.

In vehicles with 6-cylinder engine, remove refrigerant compressor See: Service and Repair

Remove spring plate and V-belt pulley.

Disconnect plug from refrigerant compressor.

Unscrew both screws (arrows) from plug housing, open plug housing and remove cable (blue).

5

Disconnect ground cable of solenoid coil from refrigerant compressor.
