Allow refrigerant vapor to flow into the refrigerant compressor at the service valve (arrow). A bottle/cylinder pressure of over 4 bar is required.

With the refrigerant compressor in its installation position, rotate the compressor shaft several times by hand in the direction of rotation.

Check refrigerant compressor for leaks using leakage tester.

Close valve on service unit or cylinder and disconnect hose line from service valve.

Install refrigerant compressor

Renew receiver dehydrator See: Receiver Dryer/Service and Repair

Correct oil filling quantity and add an additional 10 cc of fresh oil to the compressor.

Evacuate air conditioning system and refill; check function See: Testing and Inspection
