Unscrew both screws (arrows) and remove expansion valve (35).

Seal off connections with plugs.

Installing

Install in the reverse sequence; check the O-rings on the evaporator pipes and on the pipe lines and lightly coat with cold-flowing oil.

Renew receiver dehydrator and, if necessary, switches S31 and S32 (Cycling Pressure Switch and Condenser Fan Switch)

Evacuate air conditioning system and refill; check function and check for leaks See: Testing and Inspection
