Oxygen Sensor Warning Lamp
O2 Sensor Replacement Control Unit
PURPOSE
California market vehicles feature an "OXYGEN SENSOR" replacement indicator (A1e33) in the instrument cluster. The warning lamp
illuminates every 60,000 miles (96,000 Km), indicating O2-sensor replacement.
LOCATION
The O2-sensor replacement control unit is located in the passenger side footwell.
OPERATION
The hall effect sensor output on the speedometer provides the milage information to the control unit. The O2-sensor replacement control unit
(N44/1) activates the replacement indicator light in the instrument cluster.
