Removing, Installing, Disassembling and Assembling Control Valve Body

Oil drain plug (4a)

Drain oil, replenish after repairs and adjust to correct level, 14 Nm.

Bolts (4)

Unscrew, screw in, 8 Nm, take off oil sump (3), check gasket.

Control valve body (A)

Remove, install by unscrewing/screwing in bolts (7, 7a)1 8 Nm, pay attention to different bolt lengths. Range selector valve (A1) must engage in
driver.

Disassembly and Assembly

Note:
It is important to ensure scrupulous cleanliness when performing any work on the control valve body. If possible, the work should be performed on a
plastic base. Do not use any fluffing cloths; chamois leather is best suited to this work. Following disassembly all the parts must be washed and blown
dry with compressed air.
There are 19 or 18 valve balls in the control valve body. When disassembling, ensure that the balls do not roll away. During assembly, the balls must
be inserted at the correct points.
