Removal of Exterior Rear View Mirror Glass

CAUTION: To avoid damage to the motor drive or the mirror glass holder, be sure to unhook both ends of the retaining wire (Figure 1, arrows) before

pushing out the glass.

Replacement of Exterior Mirror Housing

NOTE:

The housing of the rear view mirror is available as a replacement part. If only the housing is damaged, it is not necessary to replace the entire
rear view mirror assembly.

Mirror Housing Replacement

1.

Remove mirror glass (see section A)

2.

Remove mounting screws (Figure 2, arrows), remove housing and replace.

3.

Hook-in both ends of retaining wire on new glass holder.

4.

Push mirror glass on mounting ring until retaining wire is heard engaging.
