Sun Roof Lid (Electric Sun Roof), Adjusting

Adjusting sun roof lid (electric sun roof) 

Note:  Leaks and wind noise can be avoided on sun roofs, if the sun roof lid is adjusted so that the front edge is 0-1 mm deeper and the rear edge 0-1

mm higher than the roof panel surface.

 
 
Adjusting front and rear slides 

1  Remove sun roof headliner.
2  Loosen mounting screws on slide brackets and press slide brackets inward, until slides rest on sides and the sun roof lid is at exact center of

opening.

Note:  Since the sun roof frame will have tolerances in the overall width, it will be necessary to check the side clearance at several points. Always

make sure that the sun roof lid opens and closes correctly.

 
 
Adjusting front height 

3  Loosen mounting screws on sliding rails.
