WIDER RIMS/TIRES AS AN ACCESSORY ITEM
For the conversion to a wider rim/tire combination, a new Mercedes-Benz light alloy rim is available as an accessory item (Figure 1).
The illustration is a list of permissible wider rim/tire combinations and their restrictions
WARNING!
You must observe the following:

Correct lug bolts must be used.
^
Use of standard equipment tires, as listed in Owner's Manuals, is not permissible on the wider rims.
^
Tires must meet at least the speed and load rating of the original tire (see Owner's Manual).
^
Tire pressures shown on the fuel filler flap remain valid.
^
Snow chains cannot be used.
^
Only glued-on balancing weights, placed on the inside of the MB light alloy rims should be used.
