Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

Removal and installation of door lock on driver's door 

Removal 

1  Remove door lining.   See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair
2  Loosen plastic foil in upper range.
3  Remove door inside actuation.   See: Front Door Handle/Front Door Interior Handle/Service and Repair

4  Remove locking cylinder on door handle, outside.   See: Front Door Handle/Front Door Exterior Handle/Service and Repair
5  Remove screws on door lock.

6  Lower door lock in downward direction and swivel in forward direction around rear window running rail.
7  Remove door lock through lower assembly opening.
