Disconnect the breather valve at the fuel tank side of the valve.

Connect a suitable vacuum-pressure tester to port (B) of the breather valve and apply pressure.

The valve should open at approximately 30 - 50 mbar (0.435 - 0.725 psi.). If not replace the breather valve.
3.
Apply vacuum to the breather valve.

The valve should open at approximately 20 - 35 mbar (0.7 - 1 in. Hg). If not replace the breather valve.
