Water Pump: Service and Repair

1.

Disable airbag system as described in MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING & DISARMING.

2.

Drain cooling system.

3.

Disconnect all hoses and electrical connectors from water pump.

4.

Remove fan and fan cover.

5.

Remove drive belt.

6.

Remove pulley attaching bolts, then the pulley.

7.

Disconnect magnet cable from carrier.

8.

Remove water pump together with magnet carrier.

9.

Reverse procedure to install.
