Idle Speed: Adjustments
1.
Start and bring engine to normal operating temperature. If the vehicle is equipped with an idle speed knob, turn the knob clockwise to its stop.
2.
Disconnect the push rod on the throttle lever and adjust the idle speed to 700 - 800 RPM using the idle speed screw.
3.
Adjust the push rod so no pressure is placed against the stop lever and the throttle lever is resting against the idle speed screw.
4.
Reconnect the push rod.
