Modified front mount Spacer

As of February 1988 production, a Spacer (50a) without notch, thickness 2.6 mm, is installed on the front mount for height adjustment. Since then, the
code number (arrow) is no longer stamped into the rear axle carrier (Figure 5).

Note: 

In case of repairs, the proper spacer with notch(es) should be used if a code number is present on the rear axle carrier (see S.I. 35/46, Sept. 1985).
For rear axle carriers without embossed code number, use a spacer without notch.
