Install lower edge railing into previously painted (for refinishing procedure, see Refinishing Manual section 1.20) license plate filler panel (arrows,
Figure 3).

Insert upper edge of license plate filler panel behind trunk lid grab handle and push pins on railing into holes in trunk lid (arrows, Figure 4).
