CAUTION: Prior to installing tilting/sliding sun roof frame, plug adjusting gauges part no. 124 589 17 21 00 left and 124 589 18 21 00 right into
guide block (lateral guide) and groove in angular lifting arm.
Pull off adjusting gauges only following installation of tilting/sliding sun roof top panel.
8 Lift tilting/sliding sun roof frame through rear door opening into vehicle interior.
NOTE: When installing tilting/sliding sun roof frame make sure of perfect seal between frame and body.
9 Screw on tilting/sliding sun roof frame, paying attention to correct installation position of tube and water drain hoses.
NOTE: The two rear fastening screws have metric threads. To make sure that the tilting/sliding sun roof frame centers itself in relation to
tilting/sliding sun roof cutout, tighten the two front fastening screws at left and right first.
10 Fasten tube to tilting/sliding sun roof frame rear and install cover.
11 For further installation proceed in reverse order.
