Engine Mount: Service and Repair

FRONT

EXCEPT 300E & TE W/4MATIC

1.

Disable airbag system.

2.

Disconnect air scoop from air filter.

3.

Support engine with suitable engine lifting equipment.

4.

Disconnect fan cowl and position over fan.

5.

Remove right engine mount shield and mount upper attaching bolt, Fig. 1.

6.

Remove lower engine compartment cover.

7.

Remove left engine mount upper attaching bolt.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.
