Ventilation Switch: Testing and Inspection
Fresh/Recirculated Air Switch Location
1.
Remove the ACC control unit. Refer to COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES.
2.
Carefully pull out the switch.
3.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.
Fresh/Recirculated Air Switch Testing
4.
Connect an ohmmeter between terminals 3 and 4.
Fresh Air/Recirculation Switch Testing
5.
Depress the symbol side of the switch ("ON"). The resistance should be:
0 - 1 ohm
6.
Release switch. The resistance should be:
Infinite resistance
