Remove self-locking hex. nut (7a) and detach connecting rod (7).

Installation Note
If a new connecting rod has been installed, check and adjust vehicle level. Replace self-locking hex. nut, 10 Nm.

Model 124 in bore "b"

Detach linkage (7) from torsion bar lever (arrow) and remove.

Installation Note
Replace self-locking hex. nut, 10 Nm.

Check ball joint on connecting rod for ease of movement and wear.

Note:
It must not be possible to pull ball pin out of ball socket.

Install in reverse sequence.
