Remove door lining (5).   See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair

Push back sliding sleeve (2).

-

Push out control rod (3).

-

Loosen screws (4).

-

Disconnect element (1).

-

Pull off pneumatic pipe (6).

-

Check contour hose (7) for damage.

-

Check pneumatic function of the element (1).

-

Bring element (1) in installation position. Fully push back sliding sleeve (2) and pull control rod attachment (8) out until it engages.

-

Install in reverse order.
