Sunroof / Moonroof Cable Housing: Service and Repair
Sliding Roof

Removal

1 Remove control cable, See: Sunroof / Moonroof Cable/Service and Repair

2 Remove mounting bracket with motor and gear unit See: Sunroof / Moonroof Motor/Service and Repair

3 Remove rear window. 
4 Remove headlining starting at the rear up to center pillar.
5 Loosen insulation in range of tubing at sliding roof frame rear.
6 Pull off insulation on rear pillar rear left.

7 Unscrew fastening screws on holding plate for tubing on sliding roof frame.
