Timing Cover: Service and Repair
Removal

Remove pulley, vibration damper and balancing disc. See: Cylinder Block Assembly/Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley/Service and Repair

Remove front crankshaft radial sealing ring. See: Seals and Gaskets/Front Crankshaft Seal/Service and Repair
3
Unscrew cover and remove.
4
Thoroughly clean sealing surfaces of cover and on oil pan top.
