ENGINE OIL CAPACITY REDUCED ENGINES 601, 602, 603

Note:

This Service Information is revised to include additional models.

Effective immediately, the oil quantity should be reduced by 0.51 (1 pint) when changing oil.

Future reprints of Owner's Manuals will reflect the new oil fill quantities.

The oil dipstick will not be modified since the reduced fill quantity will hardly be noticeable at the full level mark due to production tolerances of the oil
pan and dipstick.
