Customers choosing to have Michelin tires installed should have the information according to the INFORMATION SHEET explained and after having
understood their choice should sign this INFORMATION SHEET, which is to be kept in the vehicle file.

The - MAXIMUM TIRE SPEED 130 MPH - label should be attached to the instrument cluster plexiglass as indicated by the arrow.

In addition, the Owner's Manual should be updated by placing the applicable self-adhesive labels on the pages of the respective owner's manual as
indicated on the attachment.

It is important that the customer is instructed on all three changes, particularly the new owner's manual text.

Note:

Models 140 (except 140.057/076) vehicles, Model Year 1994 are equipped with H speed-rated all-season tires. As a result, maximum vehicle speed
is governed to 130 mph (210 km/h).

Dear Mercedes-Benz 1992-1993 S-Class Customer (except 500SEL/600SEC):

Your Mercedes-Benz was designed to achieve speeds in excess of 150 mph. In order for your vehicle to be used safely at these speeds, the only approved
tires are V/Z-rated tires optimized for the maximum performance capabilities (including maximum vehicle speed and handling). Typically, tires offering
these characteristics wear more rapidly compared to all season tires. However. a tire other than the original V/Z-rated tire represents a compromise with
respect to the original design of your car's capabilities and increased tire service life.

In choosing a replacement for the original equipment tires, please consider the characteristics of each tire type.

All S-class models, except 3OOSD. are capable of exceeding the maximum speed rating (130 mph/ 210 km/hr) of the H-rated tire.
