Towing a trailer with a 300D Turbo, 300 TD Turbo or 300 SDL Turbo is not recommended under any conditions.

In our efforts to reduce the noise level of the diesel engine and to reduce aerodynamic drag for improved fuel efficiency, the engine compartment has
been encapsulated.

This however, restricts the cooling air flow from freely entering and exiting the engine compartment. This reduced air volume is sufficient to provide
engine cooling under all driving conditions, but insufficient to handle the additional heat load due to trailer load (weight plus aerodynamic drag).
