Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair

Note:  In the event of operational trouble in air-conditioning system as a result of leaks, contamination or icing up, as well as on air-conditioning systems
which are left for long periods without refrigerant, install a new fluid reservoir as a general requirement.

Removal:

1. Disconnect plug connection (20) from the temperature switch (3). Pull electric plug from pressure switch (25). Then screw out both switches.

2. Unscrew hose and pipe (19 and 23) from the receiver dehydrator.
3. Remove two bolts (9) and remove receiver dehydrator.
4. Use plugs to seal off hose and pipe connections.
