If the steering lock is in position "0" (lock pin 39 blocked, lock bolt 39a extended), then the driver (48, Figure 1) must be turned to installation
position "1" using a small screwdriver until an audible click indicating engagement can be heard (Figure 2).
Important note! Do not turn the steering lock to position "3" without the ignition/starter switch (S2/1) attached. Doing so will cause the steering lock to
irreversibly engage.
