Install block heater (arrow, Figure 5) using rubber Oring from the installation kit and not the alloy washer supplied. Tighten block heater with a 46
mm socket using the method described in step 5 above.

Tightening torque: 70 Nm

7.

Attach electrical cable to block heater.

8.

Reinstall A/C compressor and poly-V-belt.

9.

Route electrical cable along transmission oil cooler line (B. Figure 6) to front of vehicle and attach with cable ties (arrows).

Note:

Be sure to route electrical cable along bottom of oil cooler line (B, Figure 6) otherwise there will be insufficient clearance to the poly-V-belt (A),
secure with cable ties (arrows).

10.

Route cable plug to a convenient location as per customer preference. Secure cable and plug with cable ties.

Note:

Ensure that cable is routed away from moving engine parts and sources of high heat.

11.

Close coolant drain plug.

Tightening torque: 30 Nm

12.

Reinstall encapsulation panels.

13.

Test coolant for sufficient antifreeze protection, refill and bleed cooling system. Pressure test System for leaks (Figure 7).

14.

Run engine. Check for proper coolant level.
